I am so beyond happy with my hair cut that was done by Teresa today. I moved away from home and I’ve had my nana do my hair my entire life. So having someone else do my hair had me a little nervous.

But I had such a wonderful stay and she made me feel so welcomed, and eased any worry that I had. I showed her a video of my idea and a picture, but I explained a completely different idea, and she was so helpful with ensuring I got the look I was looking for.

We had such good conversation throughout the entire appointment! I will only go to her! Thanks again Teresa for everything ❤️

Did not receive even close to the highlights and color of what I originally asked for. I showed Teresa a couple pics and went into detail of what I wanted done. Then was brought a full big booklet of far too many color swatches so between that and the conversation, got confused and forgot about my original wants. Was never asked how many highlights I wanted (half or full head) or how thick of highlights, etc. The baylage effect was mentioned without asking but I stopped it/said not necessary. Ended up with very dark hair and too thin of highlights and no 2nd highlight/3rd color I originally explained and showed in 2 pics. When done it seemed better than the 2 years of growing out some damaged hair I had, that is my mousy natural color, but knew it was very different and not me. I know the importance of being positive and giving any new hairstyle time to decide on liking it or not. Issues can be dealt with later. I didn’t want to deal with the unknown after 3+ hours of sitting in one spot. Then as I was about to leave, another lady walked in with the exact same 2 highlight colors (not my base tone) I’d wanted.
I’ve always been a blonde, though now at my age, a bit darker dirty blonde. Today I’m a brunette with thin blonde highlights (skunkish kind of effect) so it’s not me at all. If only we could take back hairdos we don’t ask for like food.
The little bit of layering I asked for (not a full haircut), cut in a specific way for lots of fine curly hair that I wear straight and curly, Teresa figured out and that part turned out good.
Even after that, I wanted to give her another try so I emailed later that evening trying to explain as politely as possible, that I was too dark, blamed myself for the color errors and not understanding the result. I asked for an earlier next appointment but also explained my detailed email was for scheduling purposes to give her plenty of time, next time. The response came in many short and curt emails, so today I shortly and curtly emailed back to cancel my future appointment and posted my review here.
